Privacy notice

At DTA Sistemas, our clients’ information is confidential. This notice explains what data we collect, what we use it for, how we protect it and how you can exercise your rights.

Last updated:

  • Confidential by default

Your information is used only for the purpose you entrusted it to us for.

  • Minimum access

Only those who need it to handle your case can access it, under a duty of secrecy.

  • No data sales

We never sell or assign client information for commercial purposes.

  • You stay in control

You can access, correct or request deletion of your data at any time.

1.Data controller

[RAZÓN SOCIAL COMPLETA] (“DTA Sistemas” or “DTA”), located at [DOMICILIO COMPLETO], Cancún, Quintana Roo, México, is the controller of the personal data you provide, in accordance with Mexico’s Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties in force since March 21, 2025 (the “Law”) and other applicable regulations.

2.Our confidentiality commitment

Our work requires understanding in depth how a company operates: its processes, systems and data. That is why we treat everything our clients share with us as confidential. Specifically, DTA commits to the following:

  • Need-to-know access. Only staff who need the information to handle your case may access it.
  • Duty of secrecy. Everyone who works with DTA and has access to client information is bound by confidentiality, an obligation that continues after their relationship with DTA ends.
  • No sale or commercial assignment. We do not sell, rent or assign client information to third parties for commercial or advertising purposes.
  • A single purpose. Information is used only for the purpose for which it was provided; it is not reused in other clients’ projects or published.
  • Confidentiality agreement on request. If you wish, we will sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) at no cost before you share any information.
  • Clean close-out. When our relationship ends, we securely return or delete client information, except what the law or the contract requires us to keep.

3.Personal data we collect

Through this site (contact form, email or WhatsApp) we may collect:

  • Identification and contact details: full name, company, email address, phone or WhatsApp number and city.
  • The content of your message and the type of help you request.
  • Technical browsing data: IP address, device and browser type, and pages visited, through cookies and analytics tools.

We do not collect sensitive personal data through the site. Please do not include passwords, card numbers, financial or medical information or confidential documents in the form; if you need to share them, we will give you a secure channel.

4.Information entrusted to us during a project

When providing our services we may have access to information about your company’s operations: customer databases, bookings, financial information, systems and credentials, among others.

When that information includes personal data your company collects from its own customers, employees or suppliers, your company is the controller of that data and DTA acts as processor. In that case:

  • We will process that data only under your instructions and the services contract, and never for our own purposes.
  • We will not transfer it to third parties, except subcontractors you authorize who are bound by the same confidentiality.
  • We will request only the minimum access needed, use it temporarily and revoke it when the work ends. We do not store passwords in plain text or share them over insecure channels.
  • We will apply security measures equal to or stronger than those we use for our own information.

5.Purposes of processing

Necessary purposes, which give rise to our relationship with you:

  • Responding to your contact, information or quote requests.
  • Scheduling and carrying out assessments (such as DTA Digital Audit) and presenting proposals.
  • Formalizing, performing and following up on services, including invoicing.

Additional purposes, which are not essential:

  • Sending you blog content, news or information about our services.
  • Measuring and improving how the site works and the browsing experience.

If you do not want your data processed for the additional purposes, you may say so at any time by writing to contacto@dtasistemas.com. Your refusal will not affect the necessary purposes.

6.Who we share your data with

To operate our services we rely on technology providers that process data on DTA’s behalf, for example: site hosting, email, contact management (CRM), analytics and anti-spam verification (such as Cloudflare Turnstile). These providers are contractually bound to protect the information and not use it for other purposes. Some may operate outside Mexico.

Beyond this, we do not transfer your data to third parties without your consent, except where the Law allows or requires it, such as a duly grounded request from a competent authority.

7.Security measures

We protect information with reasonable administrative, technical and physical measures, including:

  • Encryption of site communications through HTTPS/TLS.
  • Access control with least privilege and authentication for tools that hold client information.
  • Separation of each client’s information.
  • Backups and access logging in the systems that support it.
  • Training and confidentiality commitments for staff.
  • A security-incident response protocol.

No system is infallible. If a breach occurs that significantly affects your property or moral rights, we will notify you without delay so you can take appropriate measures.

8.Your rights (ARCO) and withdrawal of consent

You have the right to Access your data and learn how we process it, to Rectify it if it is inaccurate, to request its Cancellation and to Object to its processing for specific purposes. You may also limit the use or disclosure of your data and withdraw the consent you gave us.

To exercise these rights, send a request to contacto@dtasistemas.com including: (1) your name and a way to send you our answer; (2) a document proving your identity or your representative’s; (3) a clear description of the data and the right you wish to exercise; and (4) any element that helps us locate your data. We will respond within the time limits set by the Law.

9.Data retention

We keep your data only as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described and applicable legal, tax and contractual obligations. After that, data is blocked and securely deleted or anonymized.

10.Cookies and analytics

The site uses cookies and similar technologies for it to work and to measure site usage in aggregate. You can disable or delete them in your browser settings; doing so may affect some features.

11.Minors

This site is aimed at businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect data from minors; if we find we have, we will delete it.

12.Changes to this notice

We may update this notice due to legal changes or changes in our services or practices. We will publish the current version on this page with its update date and, where the change is significant, let you know through the contact details you provided.

13.Data protection authority

If you believe your right to the protection of personal data has been infringed, you may go to the Secretaría Anticorrupción y Buen Gobierno (Ministry of Anti-Corruption and Good Governance), the authority for personal data held by private parties in Mexico.

14.Contact
